We recognise that you may not be comfortable with attending mainstream educational settings. We will support you to find the right education, work or training.

 

This may be a college course, online learning, apprenticeships or employment.  We will signpost you to Careers South West, who work alongside the Virtual School and other agencies to try and get the best possible outcome for you.

 

We have an independence book that you will work through with support workers, aimed at giving you the highest standard of knowledge and independence skills when you leave the home.

At Ambitions we want you to feel happy and confident about yourself and your future.  We want you to feel that you are listened to and cared for by our staff.  

 

We are there to support and mentor you through any tough times and to be there to celebrate your successes.   It is our goal to support you to see your value and worth and to ensure that you do not feel alone in your journey to independence.

We will ensure that you have all your important documents such as, a passport, a driving licence, CV, bank account, health passport etc. 

 

We have a large range of educational online courses that you can access to help you gain qualifications.

 

We have strong links with Careers South West, Young Devon and educational providers in our area to ensure that you can access education or employment easily.

 

When you arrive, you will have a lockable bedroom with fresh bedding, towel and toiletries.

 

You will have a TV and a fire stick to use and 24/7 access to wifi.  You are able to decorate your room as you wish.
